Wyatt E. – Bluegrass Mandolin Prodigy

“Wyatt has the fluidity, feel, timing, and “ancient tones” that make seasoned pros scratch their head in wonder.”
BLUEGRASS TODAY
Inspired by a bluegrass great, Bobby Osborne’s “Rocky Top,” Wyatt was just 10 years old he convinced his dad to by him a used mandolin. Taking lessons in his hometown, he quickly developed picking skills and was excited to join in bluegrass jams.
Covid would put an end to his dream until he was chosen by Sierra Hull, for a Tennessee Folklife apprenticeship. Through their one-on-one tutorials, he worked on the details, timing, and tone.
Today, Wyatt is recognized as a prodigy and has made appearances at the Ellis Theater in Philadelphia, PA, and the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, and the Merlefest event Mandolin Mania.
