Life of a Whitmore Student – Ballerina
Flexibility to Pursue Your Passion
Karlee started dancing at three and decided to focus on ballet when she was 14. While attending a Summer Intensive program in NY, she went through 12 pairs of ballet pointe shoes! She was discovered by the Charlotte Ballet and they invited her to be part of their pre-professional dance company. She trains daily and has 6 performances per year, plus 23 performances of the Nutcracker – her favorite. Take a look at her typical day.
