“I found each teacher to be dedicated and helpful. They certainly wanted to make sure that you grasped a lesson fully before continuing. The lessons and material was well prepared. This whole experience exceeded my expectations and I’m thankful that I found Whitmore. Whitmore School has allowed me to correct a mistake that I made long ago, (dropped out of school) and for that I will always be grateful.”

“Fortunately it has allowed me to study on an American education system, even being in Italy. Also, it has been easier to work and do other activities while studying.”

“I absolutely loved it! In Whitmore, all of my teachers cared and helped me with things that I didn’t understand. No matter how long it took me to master a concept, they were persistent and never gave up on me! Thank you all so much!”

“Whitmore School challenged me. Math and science have always been my strongest subjects, but learning it online in a different manner than I am used to, I expanded and challenged my abilities. Whitmore School also allowed me to return to my passion of static trapeze. I have a love for this circus art, but the public school system did not allow me enough free time to do so. Not only was I allowed to start up training again, I also created two performance pieces. On the same note, I had enough time to get a full time job, all while taking my courses. This allowed me to rack up job experience, which will benefit me in college and future careers. I am grateful for the opportunities this school has led me to.”

“Going to Whitmore was the best decision for my education that I could have ever made. Since starting Whitmore, my grades went up, my stress levels went down, and I actually started enjoying school for the first time ever! I couldn’t recommend Whitmore School enough. Best high school EVER.”

“Whitmore School has been exactly what I needed for my senior year of high-school. It gave me the flexibility to focus on my goals outside of school. Being a competitive equestrian, I have to focus a lot of my time on training and traveling in order to reach the success I’ve been striving for.”

Delsie D., Class of 2020

“Whitmore School was more challenging than expected. However, unlike traditional school, I found I wanted to exceed expectations. If I didn’t do fantastic on a lesson, I wanted to go back and learn what I missed the first time, and that increased my knowledge of the subject. The teachers were very responsive and helpful, and without the time wasting and distractions found at a typical school, I was able to accomplish so much more, in much less time. I’m graduating early, and should be done with my Associates Degree at the same time as my friends are graduating high school. Whitmore School has been a tremendously positive experience for me, I wish I had considered it sooner!”

Ashlyn Rae M., Class of 2020

“Whitmore has been the perfect fit for me. The teachers and counselors have been there and pushed me to be the best I can be. I’ve learned how to stay on track with my studies.”

“Whitmore has been life-changing for me! As a very busy musician and somewhat anxious individual, “real” school has always been a struggle for me. However, being at Whitmore for my senior year has helped my mental and physical health and helped me further my career in music. I appreciate this school so much.”

Anna S., Class of 2020

“Whitmore School was the perfect school for me. It allowed me the flexibility to get my work done and still participate in my dance classes. The teachers were amazing. They always were there to help and explain things more if needed. The lessons were great because you were always doing something different so it kept the classes interesting. There were lots of classes to choose from to meet my needs. I am so glad I was able to be a part of Whitmore School!”

Ethan A., Class of 2018

“It was challenging at times, and also very easy at times. I would say it was a very balanced system. As far as teaching goes, I would say Whitmore did a better job than the other schools that I attended.”

Jeffery E., Class of 2017

“Whitmore School was an amazing experience for me. The schools where I live were socially and academically not for me. Whitmore School had some very challenging courses, but with the help of my teachers (they are all fantastic), I was able to keep pushing through. This school allowed me to work on my own time which helped a lot because of medical issues. I don’t think I would have been as successful in public school as I was in Whitmore school.”

Jordan M., Class of 2016

“It was a great experience. The school format is easy to use, fast, educational, and makes learning the information more to your learning style.”

Virtual schools are taking on several new formats as a result of school closures due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Micro-Schools are brick and mortar learning centers where small groups of students can “go to school” in a safe learning environment with adult supervision. Membership fees start at $250 month and tutoring fees start at $80 hour. Homeschool Pods are forming in neighborhoods all over the country. Organized and facilitated by parents, this option allows parents to take turns as the school facilitator. In this neighborhood option, there are usually no fees. Just neighbors being neighborly.
