Time to Re-enroll

Enrollment Year

Your child will have access to his or her courses for one year (12 months) from the day of enrollment. This is your child’s Enrollment Year. For example, if your child enrolled on May 6, 2021, their Enrollment Year would end on May 6, 2022. Passwords are automatically removed at the end of the Enrollment Year and all coursework will be saved in your child’s password-protected Student Desk.

Time is up – It’s time to re-enroll.

No worries. You will see a notice on your Parent Desk two months in advance of when your child is due to re-enroll. You will also receive an email notification and a phone call well in advance to remind you of your child’s re-enrollment.

If your child is enrolled in the Diploma Program, tuition pays for your child to be scheduled for up to 6.0 credits during each Enrollment Year. Students enrolled in the Diploma PLUS Program or the Diploma PLUS with College Advisor Program receive additional guidance services, including two additional 0.5 credit academic support courses: 0.5 credit Academic Success and 0.5 credit Career Readiness or 0.5 credit College Readiness, at no additional tuition.

What if your child hasn’t finished their courses?

If you are re-enrolling, there is no need to worry about unfinished courses.

Any courses that are not completed within the Enrollment Year will roll over to the next year, and your child can pick up in their lessons right where they left off. For example, if your child completed 4.5 credits and is still working on 1.5 credits, the courses in progress will roll over to the next Enrollment Year. These unfinished courses will be added to 4.5 new credits for a total of up to 6.0 credits to be completed in the new enrollment year. On average, students complete 5.0 – 6.0 credits per Enrollment Year.

What if your child is graduating or just taking an individual course?

If your child is completing an individual course, or they are planning to graduate, they may be eligible for an extension. If your child has 5 or fewer lessons to complete in a course, they will be eligible to apply for a 30-day extension to complete the course requirements. Please contact our Admissions Director, Melissa, through the School Administrators link on your Parent Desk, if you need to apply for an extension. After confirmation of your child’s eligibility, she will send you a link to make a payment for your extension.

30-Day Extension Fee: $60.00 per course.

What if my child is only a few credits away from graduating? Do I have to pay full tuition?

We want to give all our students the best value for their education dollars. If your child needs fewer than 3.5 credits to meet his or her graduation requirements, you will re-enroll and the tuition fee will be charged on a per course basis. If the graduating student would like the opportunity to take up to 6 credits and exceed their graduation requirements, they can elect to pay full tuition.
