Welcome to Whitmore School! Here, your student will take charge of their own education. We call it:

“School. Anytime. Anyplace.”

Our Mission Statement

Whitmore School seeks to provide a supportive, challenging, and alternate learning environment. Students are encouraged to be in charge of their education, giving them the opportunity to develop creativity, independence, responsibility, time management and critical thinking skills. We emphasize mastery of all academic courses, allowing students to view themselves as capable of achieving their educational goals.

At Whitmore School,  students take responsibility for their learning. Don’t panic. Take a deep breath. We believe that all of our students are bright and capable of succeeding. And they do. Every student completes the New Student Orientation before they begin their course, to help them transition to this new way of “going to school”. You will complete the Parent Orientation so that you will be able to support your student as they make this transition.

And, there is lots of support at Whitmore School. Your student will work with his or her Guidance Counselor to develop a Personal Graduation Plan. Students work one-to-one with their teachers on every lesson in every course.  Plus, our administrative staff is available M-F for your phone call or email.

Students at Whitmore School have access to their courses 24/7 365 days a year. This gives every student the flexibility to fit school in around their busy schedule. Students can, and do, work any day of the week, at any time of day, from any location they have Internet.
